New Season of Live the Legacy Podcast, Andrew Goodman Foundation

Posted by Andrew Goodman Foundation on February 1, 2022

We are turning to voting rights activists, lawyers, and leaders in this season of the Live The Legacy Podcast. That’s right, we’re back for another season!

Last season, we listened to three powerful stories of people who fought for voting rights 50 years ago. We heard from people who personally knew Andrew Goodman, James Earl Chaney, and Michael Schwerner, who gave their lives for voting rights for all Americans, and learned what it truly means to live out their legacy today.

While we are rooted in a powerful story of the past, we also look towards the future with much anticipation. That’s why, in this season of the podcast, we are bridging the present with the future by capturing conversations between current voting rights advocates and the next generation of activists. This season will feature interviews with our Andrew Goodman Ambassadors and current voting rights activists, lawyers, and leaders. The conversations will highlight the power of the youth vote, advice for future voting rights activists, and strategies to continue fighting for the right to vote. Be sure to check back in every two weeks for a new episode!

Our newest episode features Clark Atlanta University Andrew Goodman Ambassador Christina Williams and Alkima Khondoker, the Chief Legal Officer at the New Georgia Project and long-time advocate for voting rights. The episode is now available on our website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher. Be sure to subscribe so that you never miss a new episode!
