Upcoming 28th Social Research conference
December 6, 7, and 8, 2012
Join us to examine the philosophical and religious grounds for giving, the psychology and evolution of altruism, the relationship between democracy and philanthropy, as well as the effectiveness of various kinds of philanthropy. Deogratias Niyizonkiza, founder and director of Village Health Works in Burundi, will give the keynote address on December 6 at 6:00pm, moderated by Tracy Kidder, who wrote about Deo’s work in Strength in What Remains.
