New Reverse Transfer System Facilitates the Awarding of Associate Degrees
Posted by National Student Clearinghouse on August 10, 2015
Last week the National Student Clearinghouse announced its new Reverse Transfer service which allows the transfer of credits earned from a four-year institution back to a two-year institution from which they transferred. If eligible, these students will then be granted an associate degree.
The Clearinghouse estimates that as many as two million students could be eligible for an associate degree through the free Reverse Transfer service. There will be no fee for the service, which is available to students who attended any of the Clearinghouse’s participating institutions.
