HOW IDEALIST CAN HELP YOUR ORGANIZATION
As you know, organizations can use Idealist to post job openings, volunteer opportunities, internships, events, programs, resources, and campaigns. In addition, here are some of the resources you can find on the site:
* The Nonprofit Consultant and Vendor Directory at http://www.idealist.org/consultants with over 6,000 consultants that specialize in serving the nonprofit sector. If you need to find a consultant for a project, you also post a Request for Proposals (RFP) so that consultants can bid for your project.
* The Nonprofit FAQ at http://www.idealist.org/npofaq where you can find answers to hundreds of questions about starting, running, and sustaining an organization. Click on the link to see the table of contents.
* Our Tools for Nonprofit Managers at http://www.idealist.org/tools/tools.html with links to the most useful sites for nonprofit managers that we have found on the Web.
* The C.O.O.L. Idealist National Conference at http://www.idealist.org/conference2006. Taking place March 3-5 in Nashville, TN, this is the largest national convening of university students involved in service, activism, and socially responsible work, and of the staff and organizations that work with them.
