Mapping for Change: Using Geographic Information Systems for Community Development is a new LISC publication, prepared in collaboration with PolicyLink. This report documents the many ways in which GIS can support community development efforts and shares the hard-won lessons of those who have pioneered the use of this technology in the community development field. To download the report, visit the LISC Online Resource Library at http://www.liscnet.org/resources/2002/12/information_991.shtml. Go to the PolicyLink Equitable Development Toolkit at http://www.policylink.org/EquitableDevelopment/ to obtain additional information on GIS.
