New Report: Voting Rights Restoration

The Sentencing Project has released Barred for Life: Voting Rights Restoration in Permanent Disenfranchisement States. The report examines the voting rights restoration process in the 14 states where felony disenfranchisement may last for a lifetime. Less that 3 percent of disfranchised persons in 11 of the states had their rights restored in recent years.
