New Report: The Economic Crisis and Community Development Finance

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Center for Community Development Investments recently published a state of the community development finance industry working paper. The Economic Crisis and Community Development Finance: An Industry Assessment includes insightful articles by Mark Pinsky (Opportunity Finance Network), Nancy Andrews (Low Income Investment Fund), Paul Weech (Innovative Housing Strategies), Ellen Seidman (New America Foundation), and Rick Cohen (Nonprofit Quarterly). Also included are a recent speech given by Chairman Bernanke on the importance of CDFIs and an executive summary of Opportunity Finance Network’s 2009Q1 CDFI Market Conditions Report. Enjoy!
