The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia serves as a roadmap for helping companies strengthen their social impact work and building a network of like-minded leaders committed to engaging their community.
This regional initiative, led by The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia in partnership with globally recognized nonprofit Points of Light, is designed to recognize and celebrate the 50 most community-minded companies in the Greater Philadelphia region.
We are delighted to share this year’s report on the Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia. This competitive recognition program, modeled on the Points of Light Civic 50 US, honors companies operating in Greater Philadelphia for their exceptional civic engagement.
This publication aims to help businesses benchmark their community engagement against regional and national standards of excellence and explore pathways for improvement. This report not only shares data on the practices of the the top 50 regional and 50 national corporate citizens, but it also provides a pathway for engagement from others. The collection of Civic 50 indicators herein, developed by a group of experts convened by Points of Light, makes up the country’s best framework for designing a high-impact civic engagement program. Thousands of companies have used this model to steward their community engagement toward excellence, including many from Greater Philadelphia.
