A Road Map to ‘Single Payer’
How States Can Escape the Clutches of the Private Health Insurance System
July 10, 2013 — Although states are blocked by various factors from instituting a pure single-payer system such as exists in Canada, they are empowered to institute reforms that would capture many of the benefits promised by the single-payer model, a new Public Citizen report illustrates.
