New Report: Pennsylvania’s homeless children and youth by PA county and school district

A new report, Counts of Children and Youth Experiencing Homelessness in Pennsylvania by County, prepared by the Policy Department of HopePHL, has been released.
Highlights of this report include:
- 52 counties identified more homeless children in 2022 than last year
- 13 Counties did not identify more than last year tend to be rural
- 34 counties identified more homeless children in 2022 than in 2019, the last year data collection was not affected by the pandemic
- 30 counties identified fewer homeless children in 2022 than in 2019, the last year not affected by the pandemic
- Eleven Counties identified increasing numbers of children all three years: Bucks, Butler, Cameron Chester, Delaware, Jefferson, Luzerne, Mercer, Montgomery, Northumberland, and Perry
