The Massachusetts Expanding Learning Time to Support Student Success Initiative.
The Center for American Progress has released a case study featuring Massachusetts? new education initiative to close the achievement gap and improve student performance through a longer school day. Major lessons include: engaging public policy leaders in reform; building capacity of low-performing schools; and leveraging partnerships between schools and community partners.
