New Report on Low Income Housing Tax Credits

Choice Constrained, Segregation Maintained
The Fair Housing Justice Center released a report on the distribution of Low Income Housing Tax Credits in the New York City Region called “Choice Constrained, Segregation Maintained: Using Federal Tax Credits to Provide Affordable Housing.” The report looks at more than 52,000 low-income rental units produced under the federal LIHTC program between 1988 and 2007.
