Leveraging Colleges and Universities for Urban Economic Revitalization: An Action Agenda, a recent study by CEOs for Cities and Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, introduces a framework to evaluate universities’ impact on communities. It features case studies and best practices in university partnerships, including Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond and Columbia University in New York City.
