New Report: International Assessment of Youth and Education

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has been working on a project called the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) since 2000 which profiles thousands of 15-year-old youth in over 40 countries.
Topics include:
Are students well prepared to meet the challenges of the future? Are they able to analyse, reason and communicate their ideas effectively? Do they have the capacity to continue learning throughout life? PISA assesses how far students near the end of compulsory education have acquired some of the knowledge and skills that are essential for full participation in society.
