The Impact of Gardening & Youth
Seeds of Solidarity published two new reports that analyze the benefits, impact and process of creating gardening programs for kids in schools and after school. “Less Trash, More Compost” documents a community partnership that reduced trash and promoted composting and recycling at a summer camp. “Beyond the Garden” depicts research that explored the impact of a school garden program for 3rd and 4th graders.
