Higher Education: Civic Mission and Civic Effects
A report by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and CIRCLE (Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement)
A new consensus report by 22 scholars, jointly organized by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and CIRCLE, explores the civic effects of attending college and the benefits of various approaches to civic learning in higher education. The report concludes with a research agenda.
