Food Insecurity Associated with Chronic Disease Among Study Participants
A recent study of over 5,000 adults, published in the Journal of Nutrition, focused on the association of food insecurity and clinical evidence of diet-related chronic disease. The report found that the inability to afford adequate food is associated with cardiovascular risk factors. Click here to read the study abstract.
