Metropolitan Philadelphia Indicators Project (MPIP) Releases 2008 Report
It is our pleasure to inform you that we have just released the newest edition of WHERE WE STAND: COMMUNITY INDICATORS FOR METROPOLITAN PHILADELPHIA.
This report contains a series of indicators for over 350 communities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, spanning 9 counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The indicators range from basic demographics and socioeconomic characteristics to such dimensions of community life as education, arts and culture, and the environment.
The 2008 edition looks different from previous editions. This year, we have chosen a much smaller number of indicators than were included in previous editions, hoping that this streamlining will make it easier for you to gain a broad sense of conditions in our region and will prompt you to consult other sections of our website for more information.
This year’s improvements to the website make it possible for you to interact with our site to ask questions about the community conditions and trends of greatest importance to you. We hope you will find these new features useful.
