New Report: 2025 Economic Impact of PA Nonprofits
Posted by PA Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) on July 15, 2025
We’re releasing the PA Association of Nonprofit Organization’s (PANO) 2025 Economic Impact of Pennsylvania’s Nonprofits Report at a difficult and pivotal moment. Last week, the Tax Reconciliation Act (H.R. 1) was signed into law, and the implications for our sector are real. Already, 68% of PA nonprofits had projected an increase in demand for services and 74% projected an increase in expenses, while only 41% were projecting an increase in revenue. That was before the bill passed.
We know what this means. Some organizations may not survive. And our most vulnerable neighbors, the very people we are here to serve, will go without. But we also know this: our sector’s compassion, abundance, and economic impact are unmatched. This new report proves it.
Key findings, full report and resources.
