Freecycle:? A listserve for recycling stuff you don’t want to throw away
It works via a Yahoo listserv, which you can find at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/phillyfreecycle It’s set up so that you don’t have to actually subscribe to read what people are offering, but do have to subscribe to post your own. There are a number of these in other areas of the country (and world). The Philly version was just set up in the last few weeks by Betsy Teutsch and Meenal Raval.
