New Program Expanding Higher Ed Access to Refugee Students in PA
Posted by Community Sponsorship Hub on September 30, 2025
Too often, structural barriers and a lack of resources, information, and targeted support prevent qualified and ambitious students of refugee background from pursuing an undergraduate degree at a U.S. university or college.
That’s why we are excited to share our newest program for higher education institutions aiming to increase enrollment of students of refugee background who have resettled to the United States on or after January 1, 2021.
Led by the Community Sponsorship Hub (CSH) in coordination with the Institute of International Education (IIE) and with support of Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR) and the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration, the program is an opportunity for colleges and universities to welcome refugee students already residing in their states and create a pathway to graduation and long-term success with campus and community support.
