I am very pleased to announce the availability of:
Should Service-Learning Sites be Selected on Need Alone?
by Henry R. Cunningham and Bernard J. Strenecky
For those of us in academia who work with communities, the question of what is required for a successful partnership is one of the most difficult questions to answer. In this paper, Henry and Bernard ask their own version of the question. Their answer is quite interesting.
You can find Henry and Bernard’s work at the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2005 section:
http://comm-org.wisc.edu/papers.htm
I hope that this work inspires some discussion. Authors contribute writing to COMM-ORG in the hopes of getting comments, so please feel welcomed to contact Henry and Bernard directly, or discuss their work through the list.
Thanks so much to Henry and Bernard for contributing their writing.
