New Paper: Samoan Concepts of Service and Leadership
Posted by on February 25, 2005
On February 8, Kapiolani Community College and Hawaii-Pacific Islands Campus Compact hosted Dr. Unasa Vaa, Associate Professor of Anthropology, National University of Samoa, to lecture on “Samoan Concepts of Service and Leadership: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.”
The paper on which his lecture was based is nearing completion. I have a hard copy. If you would like an e-version of the final paper please let me know.
Honoring our diverse students and their traditions of service and leadership should result in greater diversity and service learning outcomes for all of our students.
