I am very pleased to announce the first paper in the 2005 COMM-ORG Papers Collection:
Strengthening Social Change Through Organizational Learning and Evaluation
by Andrew Mott.
We so often talk about the problems of “evaluation” in this week, and so seldom have good answers to the questions we raise. This paper reports on a discussion of activists, evaluators, and donors about the problem of evaluation. Through it, we get a sense of both areas of agreement and areas of divergence.
You can find the report on the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2005 section:

I hope that the collection inspires some discussion. People contribute writing to COMM-ORG in the hopes of getting comments, so please feel welcomed to contact the author directly or discuss this report through the list.
