I am very pleased to announce a new addition to the COMM-ORG Papers Collection:
What’s Faith Got to Do with It? Early Insights on Faith-Based Civic Engagement from the Organized Religion Evaluation Initiative.
by David Scheie and Nan Kari
The authors provide an interesting evaluation of faith-based community building, exploring both the strengths and the tensions of the model.
You can find the paper at the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2004 section:
http://comm-org.utoledo.edu/papers.htm
I hope that the paper inspires some discussion. Authors contribute papers to COMM-ORG in the hopes of getting comments, so please feel welcomed to contact David and Nan directly or discuss their paper through the list.
Thanks to both of them for contributing their paper.
