I have finally finished the COMM-ORG 2011 papers collection. The final paper in the 2011 series is Community-Based Education: The Effects of TCCBE and U-links Projects on Host Organizations and Communities, by Alicia McDermott, Linh Phan, Maritza Queeley, and Claire Ryan.
This paper is one of the very rare attempts to understand the community impacts of higher education community engagement. It was very informative for me, and I hope it is for you as well. You can access
the paper from http://comm-org.wisc.edu/co/?q=node/4
