New Paper: Civil Journalism & Scientific Citizenship
Posted by on March 7, 2003
Hi COMM-ORG.
I am very pleased to announce the availability of a new COMM-ORG paper by Wolfgang C. Goede:
Civil Journalism & Scientific Citizenship: Scientific Communication “of the people, by the people and for the people”
One of the prime issues in building community power is shifting control on information. Wolfgang’s paper offers an important perspective on information control and communication.
You can find the paper at the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2003 papers section:
http://comm-org.utoledo.edu/papers.htm
I hope that the paper inspires some discussion. Authors contribute papers to COMM-ORG in the hopes of getting comments, so please feel welcomed to contact Wolfgang directly or discuss his paper through the list.
I am also experimenting with a new format for the papers. If you run into any problems with the format, or have any aesthetic comments, please let me know.
Thanks so much to Wolfgang for contributing his work.
