I am very pleased to announce the availability of:
ACORN And Progressive Politics in America
by Peter Dreier
Since we just had a lively discussion spurred on by ACORN’s organizing model, this paper will allow us to continue and deepen the conversation, looking not just at local neighborhood politics, but also broader national politics.
You can find Peter’s work at the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2005 section:
http://comm-org.wisc.edu/papers.htm
I hope that this work inspires some discussion. Peter has expressed that he is very interested in getting comments on this paper, so please feel welcomed to contact Peter directly, or discuss his work through the list.
Thanks so much to Peter for contributing this writing.
