New Opportunity: AmeriCorps VISTA Campus Recruitment, Applications Due Aug. 26
Posted by AmeriCorps VISTA on August 6, 2019
Calling all two- and four-year colleges and universities! AmeriCorps VISTA is excited to announce a new opportunity to promote AmeriCorps service on college and university campuses around the country. If you value volunteering and service, have at least 5,000 students enrolled, and are interested in helping connect your student body to career building opportunities through AmeriCorps, this may be for you.
Submit an application to partner with AmeriCorps VISTA and, if selected, VISTA will provide your campus funding for a part-time recruiter position dedicated to raising awareness of AmeriCorps VISTA and other national service opportunities. Recruiters will ideally be a current student/AmeriCorps alumnus from your school that is passionate about service.
AmeriCorps VISTA intends to award approximately nine cooperative agreements to promote national service on college campuses. By developing strong relationships with higher education institutions, AmeriCorps VISTA aims to increase students’ interest in national service opportunities that exist on campuses and in the surrounding communities.
