New Municipal Identification Program Called PHL City ID

The City of Philadelphia has rolled out a soft launch of a new municipal identification program called PHL City ID.
Beginning this week, residents can go to City Hall to obtain what the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association called a “safe, secure, and affordable government issued photo ID.”
The city is planning a full press event and public launch on April 4, at 9:15 in City Hall.
