Boosting Opportunities for Social and Economic Mobility for Families – Jul 26
Posted by The Kresge Foundation on June 25, 2019
On Monday, June 24, 2019, The Kresge Foundation launched a new funding opportunity to support partnerships that connect people with low incomes to critical human service supports and educational pathways that advance social and economic mobility in cities.
Boosting Opportunities for Social and Economic Mobility for Families (BOOST) aims to strengthen existing partnerships between community colleges and human services nonprofits that help current and future students secure family-sustaining employment using two-generation approaches.
Kresge will award up to eight three-year grants of up to $450,000 each to qualifying partnerships between community colleges within the Achieving the Dream network and human services nonprofits.
Want to learn more about BOOST? Save the date for an informational webinar at 12:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, June 27, 2019. For more information about the webinar, funding eligibility and application guidelines, please visit the Current Funding Opportunities page at Kresge.org.
Letters of Inquiry are due by 11:59 p.m. EST July 26, 2019. To submit your letter, please register for an account on Kresge’s online portal (Fluxx) by July 17, 2019.
