New Food Stamp Outreach Material Available from FNS
A Food Stamps Make America Stronger bookmark is now available from FNS. This bookmark can be used to promote the nutrition benefits of food stamps to potentially eligible people. The bookmark is English on one side and Spanish on the other. It includes information about the Step 1 pre-screening tool that will tell potential applicants if they may be eligible for benefits and how much they could receive.
Outreach providers can easily use this piece in mailings as it fits into a standard envelope. It can be passed out at health fairs or other outreach events. It could be included with pay stubs or dropped into food bags.
It can be ordered from the FNS website. It is free and there is no limit on the number that can be ordered. Also check out the other free outreach posters, flyers, and brochures available to spread the word about the nutrition benefits of food stamps.
