New Flyer for Immigrants on School Registration

School registration support for immigrants offered
It’s time to register for school and many immigrant families have questions about the process and the papers required.
A new double-sided flyer created by the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians and legal experts at the Education Law Center provides answers to many common questions. The flier not only offers valuable information about what documents and information you will need to register a child for school but also what schools are not allowed to ask and what records they may not require such as a social security number, photo id or immigration documents.
A copy of the flyer is available here.
