Just wanted to share with all of you a great new middle and high school curriculum guide I’ve recently come across published by the Water Environment Federation http://www.wef.org
This new curriculum titled, “Make Waves: Career Paths in the Water Environment” consists of twelve lesson plans, each developing one aspect of a specific type of water environment career into a hands-on classroom unit.
Careers such as Civil Engineer, Water Conservation Specialist, GIS Specialist, Environmental Planner, Microbiologist, etc. can all be explored through these lesson plans.
Along with the lesson plans, the curriculum guide also gives an overview of
each of the careers, the education requirements, desirable traits and skills, and links to additional information.
I love this guide!
