DPW launches new, consumer-oriented web site
The millions of Pennsylvanians who depend on the programs and services provided by DPW are now expected to have an easier time accessing information using the Dept of Public Welfare’s newly redesigned website.
The site has a new look, making it simpler for Pennsylvanians and others to learn about the broad array of services and information DPW provides. The site also offers a more intuitive method of organizing information, allowing visitors to find what they need based not only on content type, but also based on their individualized needs as a consumer, service provider or community partner.
The home page better highlights DPW initiatives and the latest news from all of the department’s program offices, while continuing to offer thousands of resources to fulfill the department’s core goals: to promote, improve and sustain the quality of family life; break the cycle of dependency; promote respect for employees; protect and serve Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable citizens; and manage our resources effectively.
The new site can be viewed here.
