An interesting article today (9/20/2011) from Inside Higher Ed: “Measuring Engagement,” specifically about the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) but addressing an important set of issues for service-learning, engaged scholarship, and other forms of academic outreach and engagement.
