New Article: 2022 Student Voting Rates Serve As A Foundation For 2024 Mobilization
Posted by Campus Compact on September 24, 2024
ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge Awards Day recognized more than 500 colleges and universities for their nonpartisan efforts to engage college students in the 2022 midterm elections.
ALL IN’s executive director, Dr. Jennifer Domagal-Goldman, expressed her gratitude for participating campuses by saying, “There is no better way to build excitement for the upcoming election than recognizing the hard work that campuses have been doing all along to expand nonpartisan efforts to support the college student vote.”
Recognition was given to campuses with high voter registration and turnout rates based on data from the National Study on Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE), a study out of the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University. Campus NSLVE reports were only released this summer, leading to the belatedness in recognizing 2022 electoral engagement.
