Order New Action Kit on Combating Childhood Obesity
A new action kit for municipal leaders on Combating Childhood Obesity is available. The YEF Institute publication reflects on the impact that increasing childhood obesity has on cities and their youngest residents, and highlights a broad array of city strategies to combat the childhood obesity epidemic by promoting physical activity, access to healthy foods, and healthy eating among children and youth. In addition, the action kit features city examples that showcase progress being made at the local level, as well as additional resources for further information. To order a hard copy of the action kit, email iyef@nlc.org.
