Networking event for area veterans

Greater Philadelphia Veterans offered opportunity to network with Sales and Marketing professionals
Four Sales and Marketing Associations have partnered with Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network (GPVN) by offering 5 local veterans to attend their upcoming networking event, FREE of charge.
The Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association, Philadelphia American Marketing Association, Sales and Marketing Executives from SMEI of Philadelphia and Central Pennsylvania, and the Philadelphia Chapter of the Marketing Executives Networking Group has partnered with Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network (GPVN) by offering 5 local veterans to attend their upcoming networking event, FREE of charge.
The opportunity to network at this event is a critical step in the job searching process for veterans. GPVN’s Founder/Director, Alex Archawski, explains: “For veterans seeking to enter into these fields, this event will allow them to better understand the industry. It allows local veterans to connect with professionals in the fields of marketing and sales. Also for those who are transitioning out of the service, this will be an ideal setting to learn how to network.”
About this special networking event:
This event will help sales and marketing professionals build their businesses, and learn new networking skills courtesy of networking maven, Neen James.
The program includes three structured roundtable sessions. There will also be time for networking before and after the roundtable sessions.
Participants will learn how to:
• Be engaging during conversations
• Ask probing questions
• Invest your time and energy
• Craft your 1-2 minute commercial
• Follow up on your action plan
Date: Wed, September 1st, 6pm-9pm
Location: Philadelphia Country Club, Gladwyne, PA
