Neighbors in Action Workshop for King Day of Service 2023 – Nov 3 or 14
Posted by Global Citizen on October 25, 2022
Come join Global Citizen for our Neighbors in Action Workshops! This is a virtual space for discussion, community building, and networking. Topics include but are not limited to civic engagement, social justice, and leadership. These workshops are great for youth groups, partnering organizations, community leaders, and concerned citizens.
We have started the process of organizing for the 28th annual Greater Philadelphia King Day of Service, the largest King Day event in the nation on Monday, January 16, 2023. Individuals and organizations across our region, and throughout the nation, are organizing King Day of Service projects, and in many cases will be impacting the community throughout the year.
To help support your organizing efforts, we will be hosting a series of workshops. The Neighbors in Action planning workshops will support project development, volunteer management, and outreach for King Day of Service projects. The webinars are all virtual. The workshop will run for an hour with an additional half hour scheduled for an open Q&A section.
Save the date for one of the following workshops:
- Thursday, November 3, 2022, 1:00-2:00 PM
- Monday, November 14, 10:00-11:00 AM
