Neighborhoods USA (NUSA) Conference

Neighborhoods USA (NUSA) Conference: May 25-28
NUSA is a national organizations that brings together neighborhood activists and people in local government working with neighborhoods for workshops on all aspects of neighborhood participation and programming, as well as neighborhood tours of the host city and various social events. A number of people on our lists have joined after attending a NUSA Conference.
I’ve attended this conference since 1998 and now serve on the NUSA Board. It’s a worthwhile organization that should grow over the years.
For whatever it’s worth, I’ll be leading two workshops in Sacramento: one on Neighborhoods Online (nationally, and how to do it locally) and the Federal Budget and the Neighborhoods (where we can plan strategy, etc., for the battle this summer and beyond).
But mine is only a tiny part of the program.
You can see the entire program and register for the conference online.

Beyond registering, it’s good to get your hotel reservations booked. The main conference hotel gets booked fast.
Hope to see you in Sacramento.
