The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), run by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (RDA), stabilizes neighborhoods in Philadelphia by fully renovating and upgrading foreclosed upon homes and re-selling them to low-, moderate-, and middle-income households.
To qualify to purchase an NSP home, a buyer must:
Belong to a household whose income meets Area Median Income guidelines
Complete 8 hours of housing counseling by a HUD-certified counseling agency, offered at Mt. Airy, USA
Agree to mortgage and deed guidelines for a term of up to 15 years
Come to this workshop and learn more about the process of purchasing a completely re-habbed NSP home with new energy-saving appliances and other amenities
