The Neighborhood Organizer will be charged with building neighborhood coalitions, coordinating meetings and collective engagement activities, canvassing, phone banking, and general administrative duties. In coordination with the Regional Organizing Manager, the Neighborhood Organizer will write and oversee the execution of individualized plans for a set of neighborhoods. They will be responsible for meeting goals related to coalition building and collective engagement efforts. The ideal Philly Counts team member is idealistic yet practical, maintains a positive attitude, and is able to adapt to changes and setbacks. This position reports directly to the Neighborhood Organizing Manager.
This is a temporary, grant funded position that ends at the completion of vaccination work or June 30, 2022, whichever comes first.
