Neighborhood Networks Week 2002
August 11-18, 2002
Delivering Technology Access to America’s Communities
HUD’s Neighborhood Networks invites you to participate in its national celebration, August 11-18, 2002. Join the more than 1,000 community learning centers across America in a tribute to the difference Neighborhood Networks makes in the lives of families and individuals living in HUD insured and assisted properties.
Throughout the week, national activities and events will highlight successful centers and programs that empower residents toward self-sufficiency, computer literacy, and economic independence.
Create activities at your own center and
* Showcase your center to the community.
* Increase visibility and public awareness.
* Highlight local and national supporters.
* Promote future programs.
Make Neighborhood Networks Week 2002 The Talk of Your Town!
The Neighborhood Networks Week Planning Guide will teach you how to create simple activities to show off your center. The guide and online registration form will be available soon.
