Neighborhood Development Grants
First Union Regional Foundation
Grants are awarded throughout 62 counties in N.J. Del. and eastern PA. Grants range from $100,000-$750,000 and are disbursed over 3-5 years. Each Project must be: Compelling, Comprehensive, Accoutnable, Collaborative, Sustainable, Replicable, Inclusive.
Eligibilty Citeria: Potential grantees must have a current 501(c)3 status and a minimum of three years of audited financial statements. Prior to applying for this preogram, there must be a current, comprehensive, strategic neighborhood development plan in place for the target area of the proposed project. Potenital grantees must be able to demonstrate the short and long-term outcomes of the proposed project and how they will be measured and evaluated. The Application process will have two phases. Phase One is a five page Executive Summary with attatchements due by 4:00 pm EST May 1, 2003. Foundation staff will review your request and may contact you with questions. By June 2, 1003 the Foundation will notify you whether or not the request has been advanced to Phase Two. Phase Two is a ‘invitation only’ application process that requires in depth detail of planning.
