SUMMARY: Grants will support individuals participating in professional-development activities such as summer institutes or groups of teachers and education–support professionals engaged in research, mentoring, or other relevant activities.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Teachers at public schools, education –support professionals at public school, and faculty and staff members at pubic colleges or universities. Teachers and staff member with less than seven years of experience and education –support professionals are encouraged to apply.
DUE DATE: October 15, 2008
AWARD AMOUNT: Grants for up to $2,000 for individuals and up to $5,000 for groups.
