NBCUniversal Foundation is launching its new signature grant program, 21st Century Solutions, to provide a total of $1.2 million in funding to local non-profit organizations. The initiative will enable non-profits implementing new and innovative programs to compete for funding in the ten cities served by the NBC Owned Television Stations: Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington, DC. The grant challenge is open to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations implementing innovative programs, which are approximately less than three years old. Accepting applications in seven program areas including Arts and Media, Civic Engagement, Jobs and Economic Empowerment, Community Development, Technology and Innovation, Education, and Environment.
Deadline: August 15.
