National Student Teaching & Supervision Conference
This is the 10th annual National Student Teaching & Supervision Conference and the second held at West Chester University. The purpose of the conference is to showcase the capstone event in teacher candidate preparation by providing professional educators with the opportunity to demonstrate best practices as they relate to the student teaching experience and/or clinical experience and the enhancement of knowledge, skills and dispositions of teacher candidates, cooperating teachers, administrators, and university supervisors. Though the focus is on the capstone experience, it does not preclude work in early field experiences, which play a vital part in candidates’ preparation. Proposals from all areas of teacher preparation are sought. These proposals are double blind reviewed to ensure quality presentations. In addition to a keynote address; an educational forum session, and concurrent sessions, there is a teacher candidate poster session.
