National History Day Kickoff – October 17 – 4:30pm – 7pm at the Historical Society of PA
This workshop is for teachers who have worked with the NHD program before as well as those who would like to learn about it for the first time.
Teachers will learn how to implement the program into their classroom and how it aligns with Pennsylvania Core Standards as well as how to hone their skills to ensure their students’ continued success. Representatives from over twenty of Philadelphia’s cultural institutions will share their resources for student research.
