Posted by Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities on March 8, 2022

The Mayor’s office for People with Disabilities and the City of Philadelphia recognized and honored March as National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Each March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD), and their partners work together to highlight the many ways in which people with and without disabilities come together to form strong, diverse communities.

Learn more about the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities on our website and check the month long celebration and events in honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with our partners at the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbilities Services on their event calendar.
